Anatomy of a College Newsroom

From 2016 to 2020, I was a team member of Saginaw Valley State University’s campus newspaper, The Valley Vanguard. I served as the opinion and A&E editor in 2017 and as editor in chief during my final years there. Before leaving the organization, I performed a workplace ethnography, as the newsroom culture change dramatically in those two years. Below is my final report.
